鞍部的夏季銀河

經過了長達三個月的不穩定天氣，星期四晚上終於放晴，入夜後毫不猶豫，裝備整理好就上陽明山看星星。夏季的台北市盆地裡像蒸籠般，到山上涼爽多了，除了納涼之外，看星星也能讓人暫時忘記憂慮。這晚也用望遠鏡眼視久違的天琴座環狀星雲（Ｍ57

），看來自千萬光年之外的星雲的光線透過望遠鏡進入瞳孔，感受時光的悠久和宇宙的奧妙，人生如白駒過隙，像是小數點以下好幾個零的雜訊般微不足道，心靈便覺撫慰。

我拍完銀河後再使用了一陣子的望遠鏡，不打算太操勞，約十一點便下山了，這陣子非常適合拍攝夏季銀河（台北），晚上八、九點銀河的仰角便很高，不用熬夜。

After three long months of unsettled weather, the skies finally cleared on Thursday evening. Without hesitation, I packed my gear and headed up Yangmingshan to stargaze. The Taipei Basin felt like a steamer in the summer heat, but it was much cooler on the mountain. Besides the refreshing air, stargazing also provided a temporary escape from worries.

This evening, I also used a telescope to observe the long-lost Ring Nebula in Lyra (M57). Watching the light from a nebula millions of light-years away enter my pupils through the telescope, I felt the vastness of time and the mystery of the universe. Life is like a fleeting moment, as insignificant as the noise of several zeros after a decimal point. My heart felt comforted.

After photographing the Milky Way, I used the telescope for a while longer, but I didn't want to overexert myself, so I went down the mountain around 11 pm. This is a great time to photograph the summer Milky Way (Taipei). The Milky Way's altitude is very high at 8 or 9 pm, so you don't have to stay up late.

久違的天琴座環狀星雲(M57)

今天使用新的控制器，赤道儀可以直接接DC12V (6-12V) 方便許多。（舊的原廠控制器待修中）

 I used a new controller. It's much more convenient since the equatorial mount can now be directly connected to a DC 12V (6-12V) power source. (The old factory controller is currently under repair.)
